Beauty In God's Eyes

"I wish women would see themselves the way God sees them. I wish we would accept ourselves the way He crafted us. Women are beautiful in all shapes and sizes. External beauty fades but the woman who can make you feel at ease, who can make you feel comfortable, who can make you laugh, who can make you smile, and whom you allow yourself to cry with is truly beautiful.

The woman who supports you, the woman who edifies you, the woman who encourages you is a million times more beautiful than one who spends her energy and time wanting to achieve that "ideal weight". The woman who can engage in intellectual intercourse, who honors and respects you is more precious than one who incites your physical passion.

The woman who sees and loves herself and others the way God does is the most beautiful of all. The woman who sees God's beauty and splendor in everything and everyone around her is truly beautiful. The woman who lets love cover a multitude of shortcomings and focuses on your potential lets her beauty touch your life.

The woman whose esteem comes from knowing who she is in Christ has a treasured beauty that nothing can take away. The woman who receives her strength from the Lord is a mighty beauty. The woman who is assertive not aggressive, who can speak up and remain quiet, who can be strong yet gentle, who can plan ahead yet be spontaneous, who is wise yet humble, attractive yet modest, cared for yet caring, generous and a good steward, mature and innocent, a leader and a servant, a true follower of Jesus, she has beauty in God's eyes."

That's the kind of beauty I want to possess...
